Supported by a five-year NIH pathway-to-independence grant, I am developing the first longitudinal, population-wide database of North America’s rapidly growing Amish populations. This database is supporting research on fertility and mortality patterns, health outcomes, and demographic change. Complementing this work, I have published benchmark health literature reviews, analyzed Amish population structures, and critically synthesized competing theorizations of Amish peoplehood.
